 Global Food Stations Menu

Station One
Grilled fruit kabobs
Prepared with mango, pineapple, peaches, papaya and banana skewered on bamboo and brushed with coconut rum sauce.

 
Grilled shrimp kabobs
Large shrimp skewered on sugar cane with a cilantro lime glaze served garnished with a key lime slice.

  Station Two
Zesty Citrus Beef Kabobs
Tender chunks of beef skewered and completed with an orange marinade.

Samosas
Deep-fried Indian potato treat. Served with authentic chutneys. 

Kelewele
Spicy fried plantains with mango salsa

Station Three
Mojito-glazed turkey
With organic mint and rum glaze. Carved for each guest.

 Vegetarian Vietnamese spring rolls
Prepared with rice noodles, mint, basil, shredded carrots, mung bean sprouts, peanuts and tofu. Served with hoisin peanut dipping sauce.

 

 



Tanner and Plageman Wedding Reception

At Neal Marshall Black Culture Center

To celebrate Nate and Amanda’s wedding, Chef Alexa created a menu combining their love of travel and food. The international menu served at the reception represented their favorite trips. Coordinating with their signature cocktail, the mojito, we placed river rocks and organic mint at the food stations. For the best flavor, we brought portable fryers and grills to create a mobile kitchen in the parking lot of the building.
