Award Winning Excellence
Forty years ago, Max and Christine Lemley began catering. They created memorable events through fresh approaches to food and service. Lemleys' Catering introduced interactive food stations that remain popular today: six-foot pans of jambalaya, portable wok mobiles and whole fish displays on the grill.
Today, Lemleys' Catering is operated by event professionals who both began working at Lemleys' Catering over 20 years ago. They continue the commitment to quality and community.
At an early age, Chef Alexa began working with her parents at Lemleys’ Catering. As the Executive Chef, she carries on the family tradition of innovation in foods and service. One of Chef Alexa’s favorite things is designing menus that marry a couple’s individual tastes to reflect their one of a kind union. The office of Lt. Governor Becky Skillman recognizes her creativity with the title of “Indiana Artisan” for her 240sweet Artisan Marshmallows. Even though Chef Alexa’s commissary is located in Columbus, Indianapolis Monthly named her marshmallows the “Best of Indy” for 2009. She is an Artist in Residence at the Indiana State Museum.
Sales Manager Sam loves to make people happy. In 2007, she received the "40 Under 40" award from Columbus Young Professionals for business innovations.
