A history of innovation
Forty years ago, Max and Christine Lemley began catering. They created memorable events through fresh approaches to food and service. Lemleys' Catering introduced interactive food stations that remain popular today: six-foot pans of jambalaya, portable wok mobiles and whole fish displays on the grill.
Today, Lemleys' Catering is operated by event professionals who both began working at Lemleys' Catering over 20 years ago. They continue the commitment to quality and community.
Executive Chef Alexa carries on her family's tradition of innovation. In addition clients' favorites, she has added new food trends: molecular gastronomy foams and caviars, rose soup appetizers and the fabulous fruit palm. Chef Alexa likes to create a menu that reflects her client's tastes and style.
Sales Manager Sam loves to make people happy. In 2007, she received the "40 Under 40" award from Columbus Young Professionals for business innovation and leadership. Sam enjoys speaking with groups. In 2008, she has shared her insights on successful event execution with the Columbus Area Wedding Professionals Bridal and Event Showcase and with the Seymour Chamber of Commerce Nothing But Net.
